Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi made a long overdue visit to the Czech capital Prague this week, to attend the annual Forum 2000 human rights and democracy conference. Started by the late former president Vaclav Havel in 1997, Ms Suu Kyi had been invited regularly over the years but house arrest in Myanmar kept her from attending. Now, finally, she’s made the visit.
