Myanmar Court Delays Suu Kyi Verdict

A Myanmar court has postponed the verdict of opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi. The verdict will now be given on August 11.

The Nobel laureate is under trial for allegedly violating her house arrest in May.

Despite international condemnation of the trial, it is widely expected that Suu Kyi will be sentenced to a minimum jail term of 3 years.
