"Good Eggs" offers delivery of online orders for local food. Famers bring their produce direct to the company's distribution centers. Customers get fresh, local food delivered to their doorstep for a delivery fee of about three euros. Right now, the service is available only in San Francisco, Brooklyn, New Orleans and Los Angeles. The trend to buying local is also catching on outside the US. The "Kuh-R-Code" on milk containers in Germany takes customers to a website where they can see the cows who produced the milk grazing in the meadow.
