Listen: What Bach, Brahms and Webern have in common
October 12, 2015Violinist Daishin Kashimoto was admitted to New York's Juilliard School of Music at age seven, the youngest student there ever. And at age five, his piano playing partner Konstantin Lifschitz's talent was recognized and promoted in the then-USSR. The two artists, both under 40, perform a chamber concert that gives true meaning to the Beethovenfest's 2015 motto: "Variations."
