I want the G8 countries to become aware of the state of the planet and that they introduce concrete global measures for the preservation of our world. If no action is taken now on this issue, then we can expect to go the same way as the dinosaur.

Since we have seen the results of world climate report, it is clear us that the biggest problem for the planet is not the development and industrialization of poor countries. The focus for concern is now the earth itself and human beings as inhabitants of this earth. We already reached a point where the damage can no longer be undone.

Global warming is a fact and we have to respond to this situation, try to decrease its ill effects and work to secure the planet and the future of mankind. That is a global question. We all need to cooperate and develop a new consciousness that the fate of the earth and of mankind are linked. In particular the churches, with faith, promises and redemption, can make an important contribution.
