(10.02.04 Virginia / Tennessee) The states of Virginia and Tennessee have held primaries to help choose this year's challenger to George W. Bush. Senator John Kerry, already the front-runner, won both states comfortably further securing his lead in the race. As a result of his success, another one of the challengers to Kerry is pulling out of the race.
