Keeping your Balance

There is a simple way to improve your equilibrium: stand on one foot, alternating left and right. Lift one foot off the floor for a short time, bending your knee at a 45-degree angle. You can even do it while waiting at a traffic light, brushing your teeth or washing dishes. Motivate your parents or grandparents to train their balance, too. This can prevent falls, and that's especially important for elderly people.
