The chair of the Eurozone, Jean Claude Juncker, strongly criticized Germany for rejecting his proposal of eurozone bonds as a way of helping weaker eurozone countries raise money. German chancellor Angela Merkel believes eurobonds would discourage troubled eurozone economies from fixing their public finances.
