Prosecutors in the Czech Republic have reopened the investigation into the mysterious death of Jan Masaryk, the post-war foreign minister of Czechoslovakia. Masaryk's body was found lying beneath his bathroom window on March 10, 1948 — two weeks after the communist takeover. The official verdict was suicide, but that theory has repeatedly been questioned.
