Inside Europe: The tale of gay parents in Italy

Italy is one of the few countries in the EU in which there is no legal recognition for same sex couples. Every time an MP proposes a law to finally close this legal gap, the parliament appears to try to slow it down. Whilst discussions continue over a new law, 1000s of Italian same sex couples and their children are caught in a kind of no man's land between the law and daily life.
