In Russia’s gay rights battleground, St. Petersburg has long been "Ground Zero." The city was an early adopter of the so-called ‘anti-gay propaganda’ restrictions that have gone on to become federal law across Russia. Reporter Charles Maynes recently traveled to St. Petersburg to meet with LGBT activists and brought back a story about a photo and three guys called Jon, Alex and Mads.
