Inside Europe: Hungary's referendum on migration

The Hungarian government says it will hold a referendum on October 2nd on whether the country should accept migrants under an EU quota system. The scheme was approved by a majority of EU member states last year. The anti-immigration government of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is against the quota scheme. Emboldened by Britain's Brexit vote, his government is now forging ahead with a referendum.
