Inside Europe: Ensuring the survival of pelota

Pelota is a traditional sport played in Spain’s Basque Country and involves a ball being whacked against a stone wall. There are many different ways of playing pelota –the ball can be struck with the player’s bare hands, with a curved basket, or with a wooden club. But there's been growing concern in recent years that the sport is in a decline and could die out. Guy Hedgecoe reports.
