In the historic city of Bruges, a pipe dream has become a reality. Literally. A new pipeline has just opened which is pumping thousands of liters of beer from a brewery in the center of town to a bottling plant on its outskirts. The Belgian brewery has gone underground to make its success sustainable both in terms of business and to preserve the fragile environment of this UNESCO protected city.
