The 2005 Confederations Cup is much more than just a dress rehearsal for the following year's World Cup. The champions of Europe, South America, Africa, Asia and Oceania plus Argentina and hosts Germany will compete for the title of Champion of Champions between June 15 - June 29.

It is a huge sporting event, just not as big as the one heading Germany's way in 2006. Regardless of this fact, Germany is preparing to make the Confederations Cup run smoothly for participants and supporters alike.

Having the World Cup on the horizon is an advantage for the German cities hosting Confed Cup games. They are already well on the way to being fully operational host locations. For those people attending this year's soccer festival, here is a run-down of those cities which will be making the fans of Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Australia, Tunisia, Greece, Mexico -- and of course Germany -- welcome.
