Holocaust survivor Irene Shashar shares message of hope

As a child, Irene Shashar lived through the horrors of the Warsaw Ghetto under Nazi occupation. She told DW, and the European Parliament, that she "survived for a better life." She hopes her message will resonate on International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
