Maria, the Roma and child trafficking

The case of the little blonde girl, Maria, who was found living with a Roma couple in Greece is focussing international attention on child trafficking. But are the Roma now being unfairly linked to child trafficking gangs and abductions?

Since Maria was discovered, other cases have been investigated across Greece and also in Ireland too. On Wednesday, three Roma men were arrested on the Greek island of Lesvos on suspicion of child abduction. Inside Europe's Helen Seeney asked Athens correspondent, Anthee Carassava, if Maria's case had sparked a backlash against Greece's Roma community?
