Guterres: Time to stop the sickening cycle of escalation

In an emergency meeting, members of the UN Security Council have condemned the spiralling violence in the Middle East. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told the Council that what he called the "deadly cycle of tit-for-tat violence" must end.
