Ghana - Prosperity through cassava

April 17, 2012

Cassava is a major staple in Ghana. It is a food crop and can also be used to make bioplastic. The problem is that cassava goes off quickly once it is harvested. Josma is a small company that makes cassava flour. With help from the International Fund for Agricultural Development, Josma has acquired new machines and hired new staff. The entire region should benefit as a result.
