Germany has entered a month-long partial coronavirus lockdown – as it struggles to get the number of infections under control. Restaurants, bars and all recreational centers are closed, social meetings are restricted to a minimum. Chancellor Angela Merkel has appealed to the public to face a difficult time in solidarity.
