G20 supports fossil fuels

A report released this week by the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) reveals that G20 governments are spending about 88 billion dollars every year on fossil fuel exploration for oil, coal and gas. This comes after the latest dire warnings from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). DW speaks to ODI’s Shelagh Whitley, the report’s co-author.
