Fur, falling out of favor

Report: Malcolm Brabant, Copenhagen, DenmarkJune 26, 2014

Animal rights activists had virtually killed off the fur market convincing women that such apparel was morally unacceptable. Then it bounced back with the cost of a mink skin rising three fold to around 80 euros. But this year falling demand and excessive skins have cut prices in half. So is it bust for the fur industry? Malcolm Brabant went to the world’s biggest fur auction in Copenhagen.
