French physicist simulates dying stars with water

Now, just last month, French astrophysicists published a paper in the journal Physical Review Letters that simulates the collapse of a dying star with a water experiment. Scientists say this surprisingly simple experiment shows viewers why aging stars collapse into a smaller stars and burst into massive explosions. Clea Caulcutt reports from Paris.
