Fears for Alaska

Alaska is taking stock after one of the worst fire seasons in its history. In June, wildfires tore through millions of acres of forest, damaging scores of properties and leaving behind charred trees and scorched earth. Scientists fear the fires are yet another indicator of how a changing climate is impacting the Alaskan landscape.
