The Bohemian Forest straddles the borders of three countries, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. The hilly terrain is a paradise for cross-country skiers, and since the fall of the Iron Curtain visitors can cross the borders freely and enjoy all three countries' natural splendor and cuisine.
