euromaxx: Sergeant Peppers Rock´n Roll Zirkus in Hamburg (21.01.2009) eme

Ema Nevenka JülichJanuary 23, 2009

"It was twenty years ago today - Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play.... actually it's just over forty, but the music immortalised on the Beatles' 1967 album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" can still get the party started. With its thirteen tracks, including the legendary "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," it's considered one of the most influential albums of all time. But by the time of its release the Beatles had quit touring and they never performed the songs live themselves. In fact they even claimed it was unplayable live. Now the Rock & Roll Circus Band is proving them wrong in Hamburg.
