With the European Union still in economic crisis, many within the current borders are wondering how clever it is to make the union even bigger. But their fears will go unheeded, for now, because at midnight on June 30th the EU will enlarge still further, as Croatia celebrates its entry into the Union. Kerry Skyring reports from Zagreb.
