Coronavirus overshadows EU summit

A sharp rise in coronavirus infections and a last-ditch scramble to agree a trade deal with the UK have dominated an EU leaders' meeting in Brussels. EU Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen had to leave early to self-isolate.
