Converting electricity to gas

Storing electricity from sustainable power sources is a problem. But a promising technology called "Power-to-Gas" converts that electricy to a gas fuel which can be stored and transported easily.

Energy ministers from the G7 group of industrialized nations are meeting in Germany's port city of Hamburg. Among the topics on their agenda is clean energy. Germany's engineering and energy sector has done a lot in this area. The latest example is a technology called "Power-to-Gas" which transforms electricity into a form which is easily stored and transported.
