There’s strong criticism of the planned free trade agreement TTIP. Europe’s organic farming sector is especially skeptical. Critics of the deal belive it threatens food safety and undermines quality standards, as well as animal and environmental protection regulations. And the fact that no one really knows what’s really being negotiated makes the whole situation even more worrying.
