Cheney and Edwards go head to head

Perhaps people who want to be the president of the United States have to put over a statesmanlike image, so it wasn't surprising that the television debate between the two presidential candidates last week was a relatively polite affair. However, the two men campaigning to be Vice President can afford to hit harder, and Republican Dick Cheney and Democrat John Edwards clashed head on in their only live televised debate, which took place in Cleveland, Ohio last night. Unlike the presidential candidates, these two were allowed to really argue with each other.
