Burkina Faso's cash cashew crop

Ten years ago, cashew nuts were virtually unknown in Burkina Faso. A few trees grew wild and children ate the juicy fruit but threw the nuts away. Then some farmers recognized the value of the trees and began to grow cashews systematically.
