British luxury brands Jaguar and Land Rover - je 26.03.2008

Indian bus and truck maker Tata Motors is buying British luxury brands Jaguar and Land Rover. It's paying US car-maker Ford 2.3 billion dollars. The move is part of Ford's efforts to focus on its core North American operations. Land Rover is profitable, but Ford has never managed to make money from its investment in Jaguar.
