The Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation includes one of the world's largest libraries as well as outstanding archives and research institutes. Among the stars of its gigantic collection, which encompasses all areas of cultural tradition from the Stone Age to contemporary art, are the bust of Nefertiti in the Neues Museum, Hans Holbein's portrait of the merchant Georg Gisze in the Gemäldegalerie, and the installation "Das Kapital" by Joseph Beuys in the Hamburger Bahnhof.
