Berlin Fashion Week Jan. 2007
Model and Mayor
German model Eva Padberg chats with Berlin Mayor Klaus Wowereit before Hugo Boss presented its HUGO collection on Sunday, Jan. 27, in a hangar at Berlin's Tempelhof Airport. Were they talking about politics or fashion? We're left guessing. Though Ms. Padberg is wearing a summery, sleeveless piece, the fashion show focuses on trends for fall/winter 2008-2009. Click for a peak at new creations by some of the world's top designers. The Berlin Fashion Week runs through Thursday, Jan. 31.
It's Hugo, Just HUGO
Hugo Boss officially opened the second Berlin Fashion Week with a fall/winter HUGO collection by its new shooting-star designer, Bruno Pieters of Belgium. Dark colors, harsh cuts and playful proportions characterized his designs.
The New Black
Former tennis great Boris Becker, who attended the show, called Belgian designer Bruno Pieters' HUGO collection "clothes you could wear."
Dark and Stormy

Fashion Divas
Eva Padberg and Naomi Campbell led an opening press conference on Monday, Jan. 28 -- for which Campbell reportedly arrived over an hour late.

The Berlin label Miroike, which presented on Monday, Jan. 28, also went for drab chic.
See and Be Seen
Fashion shows aren't just for fashion freaks. Former German tennis star Boris Becker, right, is seen here talking with Finnish racecar driver Mika Haekkinen: "Hey Mika, do you think I'd look good in that mini skirt?"
