Unexplained passing

British singer Amy Winehouse, who was found dead in her apartment on Saturday, was buried on Tuesday. The funeral was attended by only family and friends, a spokesman for her family said.
A post-mortem examination into her death took place on Monday, revealing no clear cause of death. Further toxicology tests are to be conducted, with results expected in two to four weeks. However, the death was being treated as "not suspicious," police said.
The 27-year-old singer's body was found on Saturday at her home in Camden, North London. On Monday, her father Mitch Winehouse thanked fans for their tributes, saying: "It means so much to me and my family."
Suspected overdose
Earlier media reports said the troubled singer had bought a combination of hard drugs late Friday before being found dead. Winehouse was said to be depressed over the recent breakup of a close relationship.
Winehouse spent Friday evening watching television with a bodyguard, British media quoted a spokesman as saying. The man raised the alarm the next morning.
The police has not commented on reports of an overdose of drugs or alcohol or possible contaminated drugs.
"It would be inappropriate to speculate on the cause of death," Police Superintendent Raj Kohli said over the weekend.
The Brit and Grammy award-winner had struggled with alcohol and drug addiction for many years and had recently spent time in a rehabilitation clinic.
