Helping people, doing good: whoever goes into aid work wants to improve the world. But the jobs are changing. Where in previous years a willingness to get your hands dirty was enough, today people with university degrees are the ones in demand. Germany's Development Organization GIZ sends some 850 development aid workers abroad every year.
