A Brazilian pulls himself out of crime

Emerson Ferreira saw crime as a way out of poverty and got caught. Freed after five years in an overcrowded jail, he wants to prevent other youngsters from sharing his fate. As part of the Global Shapers network he has plenty of supporters.
