60 years anniversary of Germanys constitution: Official state ceremony in Berlin

Here in Berlin, festivities are under way marking six decades of the Federal Republic of Germany. Sixty years ago tomorrow, the Basic Law - the document that is Germany's de facto constitution - was signed. Political leaders, as well as representatives from all sections of German society attended an official state ceremony in downtown Berlin. In his keynote speech, President Host Köhler said Germany could be proud of what it has achieved.
