Along with the rest of the EU, Germany is banning certain single-use plastic products this weekend in an effort to better manage its plastic consumption. But Europe’s biggest economy produces more than 6 million tons of plastic waste annually, and some Germans continue to embrace a "throw-away culture”. So will the ban really make the impact that environmentalists in Germany are hoping for?
